Tips on How to Organize Office Space

First, if the office area is in a room that is used for another purpose, you will need to consider that you have limited space. You won't want a large desk that will take up too much space. Also, instead of a large file cabinet, consider wall mounted hanging files, or a small file box that can sit under the desk.

Wall mounted cubes and cabinets are nice to have over your desk to save space and create more storage, especially for paper products or books. Some cubes even have drop down doors to hide what you store inside. A hutch attached to the top of your desk also helps save space, and can provide shelves to keep organized.

The next thing you need to know on how to organize office space is that you will need to get your office area organized, and minimize your clutter. There are plenty of ideas to help you stay organized. You can purchase mail organizers that are wall mounted or made to sit on your desk top with slots that can be labeled. Divided trays in your desk drawer will help keep office supplies such as paper clips or rubber bands separated.

Try having a wall mounted, dry erase, magnetic calender so you can keep your desktop clear. There are also magnetic pencil/pen cups, that can attach right to the magnetic calender! You can also add other magnets to the calender to hang memo's or pictures.
